During his visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir witnessed a high-intensity field exercise “Steadfast Resolve,” at Khairpur Tamewali (KPT), encompassing the integration of advanced technologies such as unmanned aerial systems (drones), surveillance assets, electronic warfare assets, and modern command-and-control mechanisms. The exercise highlights the armed forces’ focus on technology-enabled multi-domain operations, according to an ISPR statement.

While addressing troops, Field Marshal Asim Munir lauded their high morale, professional competence, and operational preparedness. He reaffirmed that Pakistan Armed Forces are fully prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against all threats, emphasizing the need for optimum readiness to meet future battlefield and security challenges.

The CDF highlighted that the armed forces are undergoing a major transformation in multiple domains. The evolution of warfare is characterized by technological advancements driving significant mental transformations across all levels.

He stated that in the future, technological maneuvers will replace physical maneuvers and fundamentally alter offensive and defensive operations. To embrace this rapid pace of technology adoption, innovation, indigenization, and adaptation shall remain fundamental aspects of the transformation.
