Firefighters respond to garment factory blaze in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: A major fire broke out at a garment factory in Rawat Industrial Estate on Monday, prompting swift response from rescue and firefighting teams. Over 45 personnel, along with 13 emergency vehicles, were deployed to the scene within minutes. Rescue 1122 reported that they are currently engaged in efforts to bring the blaze under control.

The scale of the fire is significant, and operations continue as department firefighters dispatched from across Rawalpindi’s districts now actively working on the site. Additional rescue fire tenders have been sent to assist, while other fire services and the Water and Sanitation Agency have also arrived at the scene.

Rescue 1122 stated that the exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined. Officials are currently assessing the situation and coordinating resources from various departments.

This incident is being closely monitored by local authorities as they work towards containing the fire. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
