Five Candidates in KP Senate By-Election 2026 Race

Election Commission Releases Contesting List

On Saturday, the Election Commission announced the official list of candidates vying for a Senate seat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s 2026 by-election. The Form-54 listed five contenders: Asghar Ali from PML-N, Raheela Bibi and Abdul Haseeb from PPP Parliamentarians, Sajad Khan Mohmand as an Independent, and Irfan Saleem also running independently.

The Election Commission has set the polling date for April 23rd between 9am and 6pm. They have instructed all relevant parties to make sure arrangements are in place for a smooth and transparent voting process.
