
Four Children Drown in Hangu Pond
At least four children lost their lives after drowning in a pond near Kotki in the city of Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rescue officials stated that the incident occurred where a group of Afghan refugee children were swimming.
Five children drowned, with one child rescued by rescuers. The deceased children ranged from five to eight years old and included two brothers. All victims and the injured child belonged to Afghan refugee families.
