Iranian Parliament Speaker Shares Photo from Flight to Honor Minab School Attack Victims
Iranian Parliament Speaker Baqher Ghalibaf posted a photo on social media showing seats decorated with photographs and school bags of children killed in the Minab school attack.
The image was shared by Ghalibaf on X, stating that these were his fellow passengers on the flight. The incident occurred during the early stages of the war when 168 people, including children, were killed in an American and Israeli missile strike on a school in Minab.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also arrived in Islamabad along with the delegation led by Ghalibaf. US President Donald Trump confirmed that a strong team would participate in the negotiations in Islamabad, including JD Vance, Jared Kushner, and Steve Witkoff.
The aircraft carrying the Iranian negotiating team to Pakistan has been named ‘Minab 168,’ referring to the 168 Iranian citizens killed in the missile attack on February 28. The targeted school was Shajra Tayyaba in Minab, Iran.
