Ghulam Nabi Memon Reinstated as IG Sindh

Ghulam Nabi Memon has been appointed for the second time as the Inspector General (IG) of Sindh Police, with the official notification of his appointment issued recently.

Memon, a seasoned Grade 21 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as IG Sindh and Additional IG Karachi.

His reinstatement highlights his extensive service record and leadership prowess, as he takes charge following the interim tenure of Raja Riffat Mukhtar as acting IG Sindh.

Memon’s return is expected to ensure continuity in strategic direction and bolster efforts to enhance public safety and security across the province.
