Sharif’s Move Cuts Petrol Prices Amid Inflation Relief

Petroleum prices have been reduced following intervention by Nawaz Sharif. Consultations between Sharif and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif focused on immediate measures for citizens affected by rising inflation.

Nawaz Sharif directed an immediate reduction in petroleum prices, which was promptly implemented by the prime minister.

Additionally, Sharif emphasized full implementation of an austerity program, with more announcements expected to ease inflationary pressures.
