
Gold and silver prices in Pakistan fell on Monday, reflecting shifts in the global market and currency fluctuations. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, gold prices dropped by Rs4,900 per tola, settling at Rs251,162. The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs4,201 to Rs429,665.
Internationally, gold prices decreased by $49 per ounce to $4,788. Silver prices in the local market fell as well, dropping by Rs145 per tola to Rs8,417. Experts attributed this decline to global price fluctuations and changes in the dollar-rupee exchange rate.
