The 2024 public holiday calendar features a total of 11 days, each representing a momentous occasion in Pakistan’s rich cultural and religious tapestry. Here are some key dates:

Kashmir Day – February 5:

A day dedicated to highlighting and expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir, underlining the historical and political importance of the region.

Pakistan Day – March 23:

Commemorating the Lahore Resolution passed on this day in 1940, which laid the foundation for the creation of an independent Muslim state, Pakistan.

Independence Day – August 14:

Celebrating Pakistan’s independence from British rule in 1947, marking the birth of the nation.

Eid-ul-Fitr – April 10, 11, and 12:

Marking the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, Eid-ul-Fitr is a joyous occasion for Muslims to come together, express gratitude, and share the blessings of the season.

Eid-ul-Azha – June 17, 18, and 19:
