Governor KP, Senate Chairman Discuss Country’s Political Challenges

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi met with Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani to discuss political situation, parliamentary affairs, and challenges facing the province. Governor highlighted issues like wheat transportation restrictions and inter-provincial movement hindering public, farmers, and business community. He stressed constitutional forums must resolve these issues, ensure development projects completion, and protect Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s rights.

Senate Chairman Gilani expressed keen interest in addressing provincial issues and emphasized unity among political leadership for protecting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s rights. He appreciated Governor’s efforts to remove wheat supply restrictions and reopen CNG stations. Both leaders agreed on strengthening federal-provincial relations, promoting parliamentary traditions, and reinforcing democratic institutions, with greater coordination among federating units vital for effectively addressing public concerns.
