Govt Raises Petrol Price by Rs4.53, High-Speed Diesel by Rs8.14

The government of Pakistan has announced a significant increase in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) effective April 16th.

According to a notification from the Finance Division, the price of petrol will rise by Rs4.53 per litre, reaching a new rate of Rs293.94 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel will see a hike of Rs8.14 per litre, bringing it to Rs290.38.

The revised fuel prices aim to address economic considerations and ensure sustainability in the energy sector.
