Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the alleged Iranian drone attacks on Bahrain pose a serious risk to security in the Gulf region. The ministry urged all parties to exercise restraint and prevent further escalation through dialogue, diplomacy, and de-escalation efforts.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) denounced the alleged drone attacks as a “cowardly act,” stating that Iranian drones had targeted civilian facilities, an action it said jeopardizes regional peace and security.
Kuwait also condemned the alleged Iranian attack, reaffirming its full support for Bahrain’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. The Kuwaiti government said such actions undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions across the region.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates issued a strong condemnation of the alleged drone strikes, with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs describing them as a blatant violation of Bahrain’s sovereignty and a serious threat to the country’s security and stability.
