Lahore, 3 February 2026: The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) announced today the successful sale of its International Media Rights for the upcoming season, marking another significant milestone in the league’s global expansion.

The one-year agreement for Global Media Rights for HBL PSL 11, minus India Region, was awarded to Walee Technologies, who outbid other bidders and exceeded the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reserve price.

On a comparable basis, this represents a 149% increase in value compared to the previous cycle. This substantial uplift underscores HBL PSL’s rising stature as one of the world’s leading T20 tournaments.

PSL CEO Mr. Salman Naseer said, “We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the International Media Rights sale, which has delivered a remarkable 149% increase over the last cycle for the same regions. This growth is a strong validation of HBL PSL’s brand, its competitive quality, and increasing appeal to cricket fans around the world.”

“We continue to attract strong global interest and this agreement reinforces our confidence in the league’s long-term commercial trajectory,” added Naseer. “We are grateful to Walee Technologies for stepping up and breaking past records in the New Era. The continued rise in international media rights value also reflects the collective efforts of all stakeholders, including franchises, players, and partners who have played a vital role in positioning HBL PSL as a globally recognized cricketing property.”

Walee Technologies CEO Muhammad Ahsan Tahir said, “This is a victory for every Pakistani who believes in ‘Made in Pakistan’ technology. This is just the start of our HBL PSL journey. We have many plans and we look forward to everyone eagerly awaiting everything Walee will do.”

Since its inception in 2016, HBL PSL has consistently demonstrated sustained commercial growth across media rights, sponsorships, and digital platforms, further cementing its status as Pakistan’s biggest sporting brand and a prominent fixture in the global T20 ecosystem.

The PCB and HBL PSL management remain committed to enhancing the international broadcast product and expanding the league’s reach, ensuring that fans worldwide continue to engage with HBL PSL at an unprecedented scale.
