The TCL Chinese Theatre hosted a tribute event on Monday morning with Jane Russell leading a “Happy Birthday” sing-along. A commemorative cake and 100 roses were also present.
The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures opened an exhibition titled “Marilyn Monroe: Hollywood Icon”, featuring highlights from her film career and personal memorabilia. The exhibit will run until February 2027.

Julien’s Auctions will host a “100 Years of Marilyn” sale on June 4th, featuring around 200 items related to her life and career.
Monroe died in August 1962 at the age of 36. Her influence continues to shape film, fashion, and popular culture over half a century later.
