ICE’s Future Work Connect 24 Boosts Pakistan’s Education Sector

The International Centre of Excellence (ICE) recently hosted “Future Work Connect 24,” a significant event aimed at bolstering Pakistan’s global competitiveness in education and fostering collaboration between industry and academia. Keynote speakers, including Sarah Mooney, British Deputy High Commissioner, and Dr. Gahram Spickett Jones, Dean of ICE, alongside a distinguished lineup of speakers and panelists, converged at the “Future Work Connect 24” event. Notable figures such as Fazal Niazi, CEO of Franklin Convey Education, and Prof. Dr. Tariq Rafi, Chairman of HEC Sindh, contributed valuable insights and expertise to discussions centered on driving innovation and excellence in education.

Ranging from industry leaders like Raza Ahmad Sukera, Chief Industry Development Officer from the Pakistan Software Export Board, to esteemed academics such as Dr. Raheel Nawaz, Pro Vice Chancellor of Staffordshire University, the event fostered meaningful dialogue and collaboration. Muhammad Raza, SEVP of Meezan Bank, Prof. Tariq Rahim, Rector of IOBM, and other distinguished speakers provided actionable strategies for bridging the gap between industry requirements and academic curriculum.
