
Inspector General of Sindh Police, Ghulam Nabi Memon, awarded Constable Shahnawaz Khan of Mominabad Police Station, West District, with a cash prize of Rs. 500,000 and a commendation certificate for securing the Champion of the Champions title in the South Asian Bodybuilding competition.
During a meeting at the Central Police Office in Karachi, IG Sindh congratulated Constable Khan and commended him for bringing honor not only to Pakistan but also to the Sindh Police Department.
“Winning this title has highlighted the name of the Sindh Police on both national and international stages,” IG Memon stated.
He emphasized the department’s continuous support for healthy activities like sports, mentioning that various Sindh Police sports teams, including cricket, football, volleyball, boxing, karate, and athletics, are actively participating in various national and international competitions, thereby enhancing the reputation of the Sindh Police.
IG Memon assured Constable Khan of continued support from the Sindh Police in future national and international bodybuilding competitions. The event was also attended by the Additional IG Welfare, DIG Establishment, SSP West, and AIG Welfare and Finance.
