
ISLAMABAD – Islamabad High Court directs jail superintendent to rule on Bushra Bibi’s doctor access and family meetings plea by May 4. The court will hear the case in person on May 6.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir inquired about any application submission from the petitioner, Mubashira, regarding her mother’s personal doctor and family visits. The lawyer submitted a copy of the application sent to jail authorities via courier and in person.
The court noted that Bushra Bibi underwent surgery between April 16-17 and directed state counsel to ensure an application decision before the next hearing on May 6.
