In a significant development regarding Imran Khan’s health, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder, his eye examination is progressing well under expert care. Information from sources indicates that Dr Aasim Yousaf, a prominent ophthalmologist at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, had recommended three retina specialists to Salman Akram Raja, Imran Khan’s healthcare provider.
However, the suggested doctors were unable to secure permission to attend the examination in time. As an alternative solution, two local medical professionals from Al-Shifa and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Dr Nadeem Qureshi and Dr Arif, were selected instead.
Imran Khan has already received his first injection on January 25. A second is scheduled for February 25th. According to sources, while the date for the second injection remains uncertain, decisions regarding whether it will be administered in jail or a hospital are pending.
Both parties agree that these measures aim to ensure Imran Khan receives the best possible care under current circumstances.
