Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, leader of pro-Khalistan group Sikhs for Justice, has strongly condemned India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. He claims that India is not just “hell” but a “genocide-filled hell” where the Sikh community has faced oppression for decades.
Pannun supports U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks describing India as a “hellhole,” alleging successive Indian governments have been involved in acts of genocide against Sikhs. Under the current Modi administration, he says Sikhs are facing economic destruction and ethnic cleansing.
He further stated that pro-Khalistan Sikhs are running a global referendum campaign to “liberate Punjab from Indian control.” Pannun also accused certain Hindu nationalist groups in the U.S. of anti-American activities, calling on the government to introduce a “loyalty test” for Indian-origin Hindus living there.
