Pakistan is experiencing a widespread internet outage, affecting services nationwide. The exact cause remains unclear, but most internet service providers (ISPs) are experiencing issues.

Frustrated users have taken to social media to voice their concerns about the frequent internet disruptions.

According to downdetector.pk, major ISPs like PTCL, Zong, Fiberlink, and Transworld are facing service interruptions. The issues seem particularly pronounced with PTCL Flash Fiber.

We confirm that PTCL network is facing data outage in various cities due to which connectivity has been affected. Our teams are actively working to resolve and rectify the issue at the earliest,” Spokesperson PTCL.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has also been impacted, with its website failing to update data due to the connectivity issues. Investify Pakistan posted on X, “PSX Data services have been impacted due to a nationwide issue with internet connectivity, particularly with PTCL. We will post an update when things return to normal.”

Despite the widespread disruptions, Meta platforms, including Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, continue to function normally.

PTA has yet to comment on the issue.
