IPP Candidate Withdraws for PML-N in Hunza Election Race

Iman Shah, an IPP candidate from Hunza, announced his withdrawal from the election race in Constituency-6. He opted to support the PML-N instead.

The decision was influenced by a 25-year public demand for an additional seat in Hunza and notification issued by the Prime Minister regarding this new constituency.

Shah stated that he had consulted with party leadership and senior stakeholders before making his decision.

If the additional seat notification is implemented, it could strengthen PML-N’s position in Constituency-6, potentially simplifying the electoral contest for their candidate.
