Iran Ends US Negotiations, Accuses Past Deception in Diplomacy

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has declared all avenues for negotiations with the US have been closed. He accused Washington of misleading Iran during past diplomatic engagements, calling it “worst form of deception.” The minister also noted that ongoing regional conflict has ended any possibility of diplomacy and that US assurances are seen as misleading.

Araghchi further criticized US promises of non-aggression, describing them as a bitter experience for Iran. He emphasized there is no basis for trust in Washington, highlighting growing strain between Tehran and Washington. Analysts warn lack of dialogue could escalate tensions and reduce chances of diplomatic resolution.
