Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, stated in a televised address that Iran does not seek war but will defend its rights against any aggression. He vowed decisive retaliation for attacks on the nation.

Khamenei emphasized Iran’s commitment to strengthening control over the Strait of Hormuz to safeguard national interests and reiterated his stance that while Iran avoids conflict, it remains firm in asserting its rights.

He called upon neighboring countries to support Iran’s cause, warning against “false promises” and urging unity. Khamenei warned regional nations how their responses would be perceived by “arrogant powers,” who exploit weaknesses when the opportunity arises.
