Israeli Military Chief Warns of Internal Strain

Israeli military chief Eyal Zamir has warned of internal strain within the armed forces due to prolonged fighting. In a statement posted on X, Israeli politician Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf cited these remarks.

Ghalibaf also referenced media reports highlighting multiple risks facing the army, including mounting operational pressure. He stated that Israel is attempting to divert attention from its internal challenges by escalating attacks on Iran’s industrial infrastructure.

Iranian Response Expected to Intensify Pressure

Ghalibaf added that Iran’s response would be decisive and would intensify pressure on Israel’s military and political leadership. This statement comes amid continued escalation between the two nations, with both sides exchanging strikes that have heightened fears of a broader regional conflict.
