Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has hailed a “historic and unprecedented” display of national unity, expressing gratitude to citizens who participated in mass rallies across the country during recent conflict with the US and Israel.
In a Saturday statement, the IRGC said millions of Iranians took part in demonstrations, including gatherings marking Imam Reza’s birth anniversary and the ‘Janfada-e-Iran’ (Sacrifice for Iran) campaign where people pledged to defend their nation.
The IRGC emphasized that “Iran and its people will never bow before their enemies,” adding no external force could weaken public resolve. The statement highlighted 40 days of US and Israel’s “unprovoked aggression” as the period rallies continued, describing sustained turnout as a powerful sign of national solidarity and resistance.
It also framed demonstrations as an expression of allegiance to Iran’s leadership under Mojtaba Khamenei following his predecessor Ali Khamenei’s death. The IRGC noted the scale of participation reflected public awareness of external threats and determination during what it called “sensitive and decisive” period, countering enemy psychological and media warfare.
The statement urged Iranians to maintain demonstrations, asserting continued public mobilization alongside armed forces would be key to achieving final victory in a broader “civilizational” struggle. It also claimed public support was bolstering military strength, describing rallies as “fuel for missiles,” and providing firm backing for state policies including Iran’s approach to managing the Strait of Hormuz.
