Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated during a meeting with IRIB chief and managers that all major decisions in the Islamic Republic must align with the Supreme Leader’s authority. The president emphasized that diplomatic contacts between Iran and Washington aim for a possible memorandum of understanding, under the framework of the Supreme National Security Council.

Pezeshkian also highlighted the objective of recent aggression against Iran to silence media narratives, praising IRIB staff for their coverage during conflict. He urged national unity and adherence to leadership guidelines, asserting that such cohesion would prevent adversaries from achieving their aims.

Additionally, Pezeshkian criticized hostile groups supporting foreign intervention, calling for accountability before public conscience.
