Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will lead Pakistan’s delegation at the oath-taking ceremony of Iran’s President-elect, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.

The Foreign Office released a statement that the visit ensures commitment of both countries to enhance leadership-level engagement and bilateral cooperation.

Originally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was scheduled to attend the ceremony, but his visit was canceled due to ill health. “All engagements of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for Tuesday have been cancelled,” sources said.
