Jaffar Express Suspended for PM’s Quetta Visit Due to Security Measures

Jaffar Express train service halted for two days. Officials stated this due to heightened security arrangements ahead of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s expected visit to Quetta tomorrow.

Railway authorities confirmed that the Jaffar Express, which travels from Quetta to Peshawar, will not operate today and tomorrow due to unavoidable reasons. The return journey from Peshawar has also been suspended for two days as it arrives at Jacobabad.

Additionally, Bolan Mail service from Quetta to Karachi was suspended for an extended period. City authorities have implemented strict security measures throughout Quetta to prevent any untoward incidents during the prime minister’s visit.
