K-Electric (KE) has earned international recognition by winning the Gold Stevie® Award at the 11th Annual Stevie® Awards for Great Employers 2026, becoming the only Pakistani organisation to receive the prestigious global honour this year.

The award was presented in the HR Individual – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Leader of the Year category to K-Electric’s Chief People Officer, Muhammad Rizwan Dalia, recognising the company’s sustained efforts to promote an inclusive and equitable workplace. The achievement came during KE’s first participation in the Stevie® Awards for Great Employers, one of the world’s leading award programmes honouring outstanding employers, human resources professionals, teams, and workplace initiatives that contribute to creating exceptional work environments.

Reacting to the recognition, Muhammad Rizwan Dalia said the award reflected years of dedication and commitment to strengthening diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation. “Receiving this Gold Stevie® Award is truly meaningful because I know how much dedication, perseverance, and belief have gone into KE’s DEI journey over the years. As a company from Pakistan’s power sector, an industry that has faced its share of challenges both nationally and across our region, this recognition is especially significant, reinforcing my belief that when an organisation commits to its people with consistency and purpose, it can achieve global standards of excellence. We’ve learned that diversity fuels innovation, equity builds trust, and inclusion enables people to do their best work, and I’m incredibly elated that KE is representing Pakistan on the global stage.”

This year’s Stevie® Awards attracted more than 1,000 nominations from organisations across 38 countries, covering a wide range of human resources categories, including Employer of the Year, Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year, Human Resources Team of the Year, Workplace Safety and Compliance, and Employee Relations Solution Provider of the Year.

Stevie Awards President Maggie Miller congratulated the winners, saying the awards recognise organisations and HR leaders setting new benchmarks in workplace excellence. She added that the winners would be honoured at the official awards ceremony on October 28. The international recognition further reflects K-Electric’s ongoing efforts to build a future-ready workforce and align its people management practices with global standards as part of its broader organisational transformation.
