In a surprising development for the music and fashion scenes, architectural designer Bianca Censori has opened up about her relationship with Kanye West. The candid interview, published Friday in Vanity Fair, reveals intriguing details about how their connection began.
Censori shared that she first noticed Kanye’s work on Instagram through an “alien mask” digital image post. This led to her working as head of architecture at Yeezy, where they were in close collaboration due to the ongoing pandemic.
Their professional relationship deepened when they met personally during a period when West was separated from his wife Kim Kardashian. Censori mentioned their connection grew because of how often they spent time together, often either together or on the phone nearly every day.
The two wed just one month after West finalized his divorce from Kim in December 2022. When asked about her reasons for marrying West, Censori dismissed speculation, saying she did so purely out of love. “I didn’t marry my husband because I wanted some sort of platform,” she stated. “I married him because I love him.”
This fresh revelation not only offers a window into the personal lives of Kanye and Bianca but also adds another layer to their professional collaboration at Yeezy, where they continue to collaborate closely.
Their marriage happened in the wake of West’s divorce from Kim Kardashian, who filed for divorce after seven years with four children together.
