Protesters Gather Outside Norwegian Parliament During Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Visit
Demonstrators gathered outside the Norwegian Parliament during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Norway, denouncing continued oppression in India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The demonstrators argued that the international community should not ignore the situation in Kashmir despite India’s diplomatic outreach and global engagements.
Chanting slogans outside the parliament building, protesters claimed that honors and diplomatic ceremonies could not overshadow alleged human rights violations in Kashmir and against minorities in India.
The rally criticized Modi’s policies and accused his government of intensifying pressure on Muslims and other minority communities under its Hindutva-driven agenda.
