King Charles Disappoints Kate Middleton Amid Firm’s Strain Over Mountbatten-Windsor Controversy

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s controversy has put significant strain on the entire Firm. Kate Middleton reportedly feels a lack of support from Andrew, her father-in-law, amid this turmoil.

The issue stems not just from palace woes but also from King Charles’ perceived indecisiveness in handling the situation. Despite calls for Andrew to be removed from the line of succession due to his association with a child sex offender and allegations of misconduct in public office, there has been no action taken.

A source told RadarOnline that Kate still feels the emotional impact of what was said publicly during this period, which hasn’t diminished over time. The insider believes it would be hard for her to rebuild trust now, especially as the monarchy is already under enormous strain.

The issue also extends to how Kate views King Charles, whom she generally gets along with. She has privately felt that he hasn’t taken a strong enough stance on boundaries with Harry and Meghan, which she feels should have been clearer.

As someone who knows she will one day be queen, Kate expected stronger backing from the family and clearer signals about moving forward. Instead, she feels the approach has sometimes been too cautious, leaving her feeling exposed at a time when the institution is already facing enormous pressure.
