Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has denied speculation about his potential move to Real Madrid. The 58-year-old, who left Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 season after a nine-year tenure that secured Champions League and Premier League titles, stated he is not considering future coaching opportunities.
Real Madrid appointed former right back Alvaro Arbeloa as manager in January following Xabi Alonso’s dismissal. Alonso was sacked amid poor results and reports of discontent among senior players.
Klopp told reporters at the Magenta TV World Cup team presentation on Monday that if Real Madrid had called, he would have heard from them by now. He also mentioned his agent has not received any calls from the club.
The former manager emphasized he is not completely finished as a coach and sees no reason to consider future coaching roles. However, he stated he would never coach another team in England except for Liverpool.
