District Education Authority Launches Crackdown on Unregistered Schools

Authorities in Lahore have issued notices to 744 unregistered schools, warning of legal action and hefty fines for non-compliance.

The District Education Authority formally launched its crackdown on these institutions across the provincial capital. Notices were served to all 744 unregistered schools.

School administrations were directed to submit their responses within three days. Failure to do so would result in legal action being initiated under applicable laws.

Fines ranging from Rs300,000 to Rs4 million could be imposed on unregistered schools, as per the regulations.
