Lahore HC adjourns PTI leaders’ May 9 cases without proceedings

Lahore High Court adjourns without proceedings in PTI leaders’ appeals from May 9 cases. Two-member bench headed by Justice Shahbaz Rizvi conducted hearing.

Appeals filed by Dr Yasmin Rashid and Ejaz Chaudhry, along with petitions for sentence suspension by PTI leaders Omar Sarfraz Cheema and Afzal Azeem Pahat, were set for review.

The court also scheduled to hear government’s appeal against acquittal of former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in May 9 arson and violence cases. Convicted individuals sentenced to ten years imprisonment each.
