LHC Asks Report on Kite Flying Ban, FIRs, Seized Kites & Deaths in Lahore

Lahore High Court hears petitions against kite flying ban. Justice Awais Khalid conducted the hearing for petitions filed by Judicial Activism Panel.

SSP Investigation Taqeer Ahmed and Deputy Commissioner Lahore appeared before court during proceedings.

Court seeks complete details of cases registered against violators, inquired about disposal of seized kites and strings, pricing mechanism used, and report on deaths/injuries caused by incidents.

Hearing adjourned until April 23.
