
Lahore High Court Chief Justice Aalia Neelum underscored the critical importance of collaboration between judges and legal professionals in ensuring swift, transparent, and effective legal processes. During a meeting with bar associations from various districts and tehsils across Punjab, she highlighted several pressing issues that require immediate attention.
Neelum’s discussions were centered on how to resolve lawyers’ challenges more efficiently. She reiterated the necessity of collective effort from all parties involved in the judicial system, emphasizing that providing timely justice is paramount for litigants. Representatives from bar associations representing Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Jhang, Layyah, Lodhran, Hafizabad, and Wazirabad attended the meeting.
In addition to addressing specific concerns raised by lawyers about their facilities at district and tehsil levels, Neelum also focused on advancing judicial reforms that would enhance the efficiency of justice delivery. She underlined that practical measures are being implemented to address issues at both the district and tehsil levels, ensuring better support for young legal professionals.
