Lili Reinhart Uncovers ‘Love Hypothesis’

Actress Lili Reinhart recently revealed her initial skepticism about starring in “The Love Hypothesis,” a forthcoming comedy based on Ali Hazelwood’s best-selling novel.

Set to hit cinemas on September 23, 2026, the film centers around Olive, a PhD student played by Reinhart, and Dr. Carlsen, portrayed by Tom Bateman, as they embark on a fake relationship to test their theories about love.

Reinhart admitted she hadn’t read the book when given the script but quickly became convinced after reading it. Similarly, Bateman shared he was initially unsure about doing a romantic comedy but fell in love with the characters and story once he read the script.
