Margaret Qualley recently opened up about her marriage to Jack Antonoff in an interview with Variety, sharing candid insights into her life intertwined with her husband and close friends. The 31-year-old actress was reluctant at first but ended up revealing more details about her love for Jack and the bond she shares with her family and friends.
Margaret shared that her search for “my person” led her to Jack, describing her relationship as a profound one filled with joy and affection. She expressed her happiness in various ways: dancing, spending time on farms, listening to meditation practices by Tara Brach, engaging with books on tape, and loving the company of people like Jack.
“When I was 12 years old, my brother tried teaching me how to drive a manual car,” Margaret recalled with a laugh. “It didn’t quite work out.” Her relationship with her family is also significant, as she highlighted their shared love for horses, laughing at their tendency to get lost while riding them.
Margaret’s statement was full of love and appreciation, touching on personal interests like the moon’s beauty and how listening to music together brings joy. She expressed gratitude for having such moments in her life: “I need to learn how to drive stick,” she said wistfully, referencing a skill her brother tried teaching her but never succeeded with.
Her reflections on friendship were particularly poignant. “Female friendships are so holy,” Margaret enthused, referring to Talia Ryder as someone who deeply impacted her. She fondly remembered her sister as her first soulmate, adding that her relationship has also been marked by mutual support and love.
Margaret and Jack’s partnership began in 2021 when they were spotted enjoying an ice cream date together; their romance became public a year later during the AFI Awards. They tied the knot in August of last year at a wedding attended by many celebrities, including some from Bleachers, whose music Jack produces.
