May 28 Declared Public Holiday Nationwide to Mark Youm-e-Takbeer

The federal and Sindh governments have declared May 28 a public holiday to commemorate Youm-e-Takbeer, marking the anniversary of Pakistan’s 1998 nuclear tests in Chaghai.

According to official notifications, both government and private institutions across Sindh will remain closed. The Pakistan Stock Exchange has also confirmed a day off.

May 28 now stands as a gazetted holiday nationwide, as per a directive previously issued by the Cabinet Division.
