Meghan Markle Warned Against Using Royal Family for PR Purposes

Meghan Markle is advised against using the Royal Family for promotional purposes. The Duchess of Sussex, who plans a trip to the UK with Prince Harry, is encouraged to attend a potential Royal reunion.

Royal expert Richard Palmer warns that King Charles may not want to be seen as endorsing Meghan’s commercial launch in the UK during her visit here. However, he believes the King would have been delighted to see his grandchildren at the Trooping the Colour event during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The Queen and Prince Philip traditionally took over duties for the RHS Sandringham Flower Show, hosting a week-long house party with friends in July. Over time, this tradition became more about Charles’ circle of friends, including figures like Jules Holland and Lord Rothschild.

It is likely that Charles and Camilla will be present at a royal residence in July, making it sensible for Harry, Meghan, and their children to join them if they aim to strengthen relationships within the Royal Family.
