Minister Shazia Fatima Khawaja Engages with TikTok Delegation

Minister for Information Technology, Shazia Fatima Khawaja, received a delegation from TikTok, led by the Head of Public Policy, Fahad Niazi, to congratulate her on assuming office.

During the meeting, various matters were discussed, including the use of social media platforms and other relevant issues.

Shazia Fatima highlighted the purpose of social media platforms, emphasizing their role in transmitting information and raising awareness. She stressed that TikTok can play a positive role in projecting Pakistan’s image globally through its platform.

Furthermore, she expressed her commitment to promoting public awareness and youth development initiatives at the local level.

Fahad Khan mentioned that several projects are underway to promote positive trends in digital society.
