Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, called upon the international community to address the ongoing crisis in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), emphasizing that world peace hinges upon the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
Speaking at a poster exhibition organized by the National College of Arts (NCA) on Kashmir Solidarity Day, Mullick stressed the urgent need for proactive measures to halt the alleged genocide perpetrated by the Modi-led Indian government in the region.
Accompanied by focal person Sabien Hussein Mullick, Mushaal highlighted the exhibition’s significance in raising awareness about the Kashmir issue, utilizing art as a powerful medium to evoke empathy and understanding.
She expressed deep concern over India’s alleged manipulation of the demographic landscape in Kashmir, including the issuance of domiciles to non-Kashmiris, which she claimed aimed to influence any future plebiscite as outlined in UN resolutions.
Moreover, Mullick criticized the Indian judiciary’s alignment with RSS ideology and Modi’s government policies, labeling recent verdicts as judicial terrorism and expressing dismay over the information blockade in IIOJK.
She also raised concerns about the expansion of the Indian terror network across continents, citing instances of RSS involvement in targeted killings globally.
Commending NCA for organizing the exhibition, Mullick lauded its role in shedding light on atrocities and human rights violations in IIOJK, urging the global community to break their silence and fulfill promises made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
