
Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday in Tehran. The meeting focused on the U.S.-Iran negotiation process and regional stability.
Earlier, Naqvi also discussed ceasefire efforts and dialogue aimed at reducing tensions with Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni. He carried a special letter from Pakistan’s Field Marshal for Iran’s Supreme Leader and a message from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the Iranian leadership.
Naqvi expressed hope that diplomatic efforts would ease the current crisis, praising senior Iranian officials’ role in pursuing dialogue and regional stability.
