Naqvi Visits Chinese Consulate to Address Investor Concerns

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Chinese Consulate General Yang Yundong at the consulate in Karachi. They discussed Pakistan-China relations, measures to facilitate Chinese investors, and security concerns.

Minister Naqvi emphasized steps taken for Chinese nationals’ safety in Pakistan and pledged priority attention to businesspeople’s issues. He announced an upcoming conference in Islamabad aimed at addressing challenges faced by Chinese investors, inviting participation from the Consul General and Karachi-based Chinese businesses.

Naqvi stressed the importance of Chinese investment in Pakistan’s development and reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting these investments. The focus remains on promoting Chinese investment and ensuring a conducive business environment.

Chinese Consulate General Yang Yundong commended Minister Naqvi for strengthening bilateral ties and expressed satisfaction with current security arrangements.
