In a candid revelation, veteran actor Nauman Ijaz disclosed his initial reluctance towards his son, Zaviyar, pursuing a career in showbiz, despite the latter’s rising prominence in the industry.
During a conversation with a digital channel, Nauman Ijaz acknowledged his efforts to dissuade Zaviyar from entering the media industry, citing the demanding nature of showbiz and the challenges it entails. He confessed, “Surviving in this industry is not a joke. You have to go to war. I never wanted my son to become an actor, but one fine morning he woke up and said this is what I want to do. It was written in his fate.”
Contrary to assumptions, Nauman Ijaz revealed that he refrained from offering acting guidance to Zaviyar, asserting his role as an ordinary individual at home. Reflecting on the younger generation’s pursuit of shortcuts to success, he emphasized the importance of enduring the journey and cautioned against unrealistic expectations.
“There is no such thing as a shortcut. You have to put in the work and take your time. What rises fast, comes down just as quickly. This is what I have seen,” he remarked, offering insights gleaned from his 35-year career in the industry.
Zaviyar’s burgeoning career in showbiz has seen notable successes, including projects like ‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’ and ‘Tere Ishq Ke Naam,’ solidifying his presence as a promising talent.
Meanwhile, Nauman Ijaz continues to captivate audiences with his impactful portrayal in the drama serial ‘Radd,’ alongside Sheheryar Munawar and Hiba Bukhari, reaffirming his status as a seasoned performer on the TV screens.
