Nokia and Dell Technologies have joined forces in a strategic partnership to facilitate the deployment of private 5G networks and streamline network adaptation to the cloud, as announced in a joint statement on Thursday.
Private 5G networks, typically owned or leased by individual organizations, will benefit from this collaboration.
Nokia AirFrame customers, focusing on cloud-centric data center solutions, will transition to Dell’s PowerEdge servers optimized for modern telecom network workloads over time.
Additionally, Nokia’s Digital Automation Cloud (NDAC) will serve as Dell’s preferred private wireless platform for specific enterprise customers’ needs.
The partnership aims to integrate NDAC with Dell’s NativeEdge software platform to advance open network architectures in the telecom ecosystem.
