More than 300 US troops wounded since Iran war began February 28, Central Command says. “Operation Epic Fury” has seen 303 injuries, with 273 returning to duty, Navy Captain Tim Hawkins stated.

10 troops remain seriously wounded, an unnamed US official told AFP. Another 13 killed in the conflict – seven in Gulf and six in Iraq, according to latest figures.

Iran’s military claims hotels housing US soldiers are targets. Spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi said “when all Americans (forces) go into a hotel, then from our perspective that hotel becomes American.”

US-based activist group reports 1,167 Iranian troops killed and 658 status unknown since war began March 23. AFP cannot independently verify Iran toll due to reporting restrictions.

War started February 28 with US-Israel strikes on Iran, killing supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Conflict has spread across Middle East as Iran fired drones and missiles at Gulf states hosting American military bases.
