ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Army has been conducting effective ground and air operations against Afghan Taliban and extremist groups along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. The latest strikes have seen Pakistani forces targeting Taliban hideouts and military installations, destroying numerous posts and ammunition depots.

On a specific mission near Shawal in South Waziristan, Pakistani security sources reported the Army had neutralized one of the enemy’s key positions by forcing militants to flee. In an explosive operation, the Taliban post was completely destroyed using explosives. These strikes are part of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, which continues to systematically target and neutralize all identified targets.

In a recent success in Paktika Province, Pakistani forces dismantled an ammunition depot at Shahin Base, severely hampering the Taliban’s operational capabilities. Security officials have confirmed that Operation Ghazab lil-Haq remains active with ongoing missions designed to achieve complete elimination of threats from cross-border insurgent groups.

These coordinated strikes underscore Pakistan’s resolve in safeguarding its national security while addressing persistent challenges on the border. The relentless efforts are aimed at preventing further incursions and protecting vital infrastructure along shared borders.
