
Pakistan marks 75 years of diplomatic relations with China
A special flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Ministry of Interior in Islamabad to mark 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. Talal Chaudhry attended as chief guest.
Federal Interior Secretary Muhammad Khurram Agha, additional secretaries, and a large number of ministry officials participated in the event. The flags of both countries were hoisted at Pak Secretariat R Block during the celebrations.
Participants expressed good wishes on the completion of 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship and diplomatic ties. Talal Chaudhry said Pakistan and China had always stood by each other during difficult times, pledging to further strengthen their longstanding friendship.
The state minister added that ties between the two countries had flourished under the governments of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. He highlighted the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and cooperation in the shipbuilding sector as examples of strategic partnership.
Talal Chaudhry said Pakistan-China friendship would be presented globally as an ideal and exemplary model of bilateral cooperation. The ceremony concluded with the chief guest planting a commemorative sapling.
